1. Drying-slow drying process
That is, the rice is first dried, and then the rice is kept warm for a period of time, so that the moisture inside the grain diffuses to the surface, and the moisture gradient inside the grain is reduced, and then the second drying is performed, which can reduce the bursting rate. But adding a retarding process to the drying process will inevitably reduce the productivity of the dryer. Therefore, a reasonable choice of the time for slowing down the Soviet Union has become a key issue.
2. Low temperature drying process
In order to ensure the quality of the rice after baking and reduce the burst waist rate, a lower medium temperature must be used, generally below 50°C. The drying process of 200 tons of rice per day in the Institute of Agricultural Engineering, Heilongjiang Academy of Agricultural Reclamation Sciences uses a hot air temperature of 38°C to 40°C, and the increase in burst rate is less than 2%. At the same temperature, when the air moisture content is high, the bursting rate of rice is low. In order to make the burst waist rate less than 5%, the hot air temperature should be below 40℃. In fact, the dryers currently used have different hot air temperatures depending on the type of dryer. Such as co-current drying, the hot air temperature can reach above 100 ℃; cross-flow and mixed flow can reach 45 ℃ ~ 60 ℃; counter-current drying is lower, about 40 ℃, the use effect is better.
3. Low speed drying process
Grain drying equipment rice drying too fast or cooling too fast are likely to produce burst waist, but the wind temperature is different, the relationship between the rice burst waist rate and drying speed is different. Compared with the high temperature and small air volume, the low temperature and high air volume have little increase in the bursting rate, but under the premise of ensuring that the increase in the paddy waist rate is less than 3%, the low temperature and high air volume can increase the drying rate from 1%/hour to 1.8%/hour. . In general, in order to ensure the drying quality of rice, the drying speed should not be too fast, generally it should be controlled below 1.5%/hour.
4. Short-term drying process at high temperature
The rice drying process is proposed on the basis of ensuring the quality of the rice (the rice burst rate is less than 3%), but in the rice harvest season, the time is more urgent, and the high temperature short-term drying process can also be considered. The high-temperature short-term drying process is a drying process that uses a high hot air temperature (above 100°C) to treat high-humidity rice for a short time (within 5 minutes) to rapidly reduce the moisture of the rice by 3% to 5%, and then keep it cool. The reduced moisture during the drying process plus about 1% of the reduced moisture during the cooling process can basically reach the safe moisture content of the paddy rice and ensure that there is no mold for a period of time. The result of processing the rice in this way is that the increase in the bursting rate of the rice may exceed the standard, but the throughput of the dryer is increased, and time is won.
